Today I thought I would tell you all about my trusty friend, something that goes everywhere with me, that is my fit bit. Fit bit are a large company who have built a strong name for themselves in the market for fitness and exercise tracking. My fit bit is literally a lifesaver, when I go for a run I don’t have to use an app on my phone anymore I can just use my fit bit to tell the time distance and steps I achieved on the run, then I compare it to previous tracking’s on my fit bit application on my I phone.
When using the exercise tracker on my fit bit I like to see how many calories I have burned during that specific exercise whether it be weight training, cardio, circuit training or bodyweight exercise, it tracks literally anything. The best thing is when you see the 20,000 steps completed and your day is nowhere near over, seeing this makes me feel happy with myself knowing that I have been active and still strive for more.
The fit bit that I use is the Charge HR it is really similar to its sibling the Charge. They are both made with a rubber band; this is about an inch wide and is very comfortable. The sizes that it comes in are small/large/ xlarge, personally I am not quite sure why it doesn't come in a medium but I am guessing it is because it has an adjustable wrist strap so you can really adjust it to whatever size you like.
On the front screen of the fit bit Charge HR you can see
I find the fit bit amazing as it is not only a fitness tracker but it also alerts you when you have incoming calls. When you connect your fit bit via Bluetooth to your phone the fit bit will notify you with a light vibration which is called the vibration motor, and caller ID will come up on the screen of the fit bit.
The battery life of the fit bit is excellent, it lasts me about 3-4 days as I use it heavily otherwise I reckon it would last about 5 days with light usage. This is helpful to me as I don’t want to be putting it on charge every single night and to be honest I will most definitely forget to do so anyway.
