Silken tofu nice cream is typically something I would eat for breakfast if I have had a bit of a cheat meal the day before or a higher calorie day. Its low in carbohydrates, packed with protein from the silken tofu and full of antioxidants from the berries. There is no better way to start the day!
INGREDIENTS – 1 block of silken tofu 100g mixed frozen berries Natural sweetener to taste (I use stevia) I find that this is also really tasty served with fresh fruit on top. METHOD –

Its the beginning of a new year, there’s no better time to get rid of those bad habits then now. This time of year we all like to reflect on the things that we have achieved and things we may not have achieved and maybe bad habits we have picked up on. Those bad habits can be the devil to our health and fitness or other areas of life you may relate too. But how do we overcome them? Will those habits ever end?
I know stopping bad habits can be hard its like getting rid of a really bad stain. You can gradually overcome these bad habits by putting small steps in place. Its not too late to start. My top tips to help overcome these bad habits –
Lets all start this year off with a bang, set yourselves goals. Weather it be health and fitness related goals, money goals or even work goals, no matter what it is you would like to achieve throughout 2017 never give up. Keep thriving for progression, keep working hard on that one person you see in the reflection. If you would have started a year ago you would be at your goal by now, don’t let another year go to waste.
SET A GOAL- Set a goal for yourself, something you would like to achieve by the end of 2017 or even sooner. Within those long term goals set some short term goals to keep you on your toes. STEPPING STONES- Set smaller goals maybe weekly or monthly goals that will enable you to step the stones towards your main goal. POSITIVE – Think positively about your goals and what it is that you want to achieve. Be optimistic about what you want and don’t be hard on yourself, keep striving for success but still have fun. KEEP TRACK – keep track of how your goal reaching is going, analyse the positives and negatives throughout your journey. Make those negatives positive and those positives be progressed into something you would never have believed. YOUR NOT ON YOUR OWN – There are millions of people setting and logging their goals through social media; YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and plenty more. Following people on their journey helps to motivate you and keep you on track over the weeks. When im in need of a light meal or snack ni typically go for courgette noodles, they are low calorie and a low carbohydrate food. To flavour them I use chilli flakes to give them a bbit of a kick, salt, pepper and olive oil.
I dont just leave them at that... no... for me to be satisfied I need to have some kind of healthy fats and protein in a meal. For this meal I have olive oil as the healthy fats and some meat free shredded hoisin duck created by Linda Mccartney Foods. How to make the courgette noodles you ask? Well... you need a special device called a spiralizer, they can be bought in most supermarkets and practically everywhere online. INGREDIENTS -

Mills x Hi guys. I haven’t told you one important thing about myself. Well... I’m vegan! I know shock horror another person is vegan but you know what I love it. I feel more nourished from all the good plant based foods I'm eating, I know for a fact that I am healthier now then when I was a meat eater. I had a “good diet” for a meat eater but there wasn't really anything nutritious that I was eating, in my eyes that is anyway. When I ate meat most days I would have eggs, oats, chicken, potatoes, rice and some sort of vegetable mainly broccoli. Obviously that not a bad diet for a meat eater but I look at what I eat now; all the salads, vegetables, beans, grains and much more and in my eyes this is so much healthier and nutritious.
